Stay at the Butchersfarm in the green heart of the Randstad.

Welcome to our elongated and thatched farmhouse (1900) with a charming stable. Directly adjacent to the farmhouse is the extension with the modern butcher's studio and shop.

The buildings are surrounded by a well-maintained garden with lawns and valuable old trees. At the end of the garden, from a jetty, you have a view of an island in a beautiful water feature. In the garden there is an outdoor kitchen with a Big Green Egg and South African braai.

About The Butchersfarm

In 2008 the Berkshire Butcher saw the light of day, started at the Saturday market in Haarlem, 2 years later at the Haarlemmerplein in Amsterdam. Now we have our own shop in a beautiful farm. The farm in Ter aar is located in the green heart of the Randstad and easily accessible by private transport from the A4 and A12.

Where hay was once stored, there are now beautifully renovated rooms, sleeping up to 8 people. Each room is uniquely styled with all the charm of bygone times and all the luxury of modern comfort - each designed by us, not interior designers, to be truly memorable.
